This auction is for a set of twelve (12) Ford V4 and Ford V6 "ESSEX" Exhaust Manifold To Cylinder Head Stainless Steel Steel STUDS with All Metal AEROTIGHT Locking Nuts.
The STUDS have Allen-Key drives pressed into one end to make installation easy.!
They also save on wear and tear (in the long term) of the threads in the cylinder head bolt-holes from repeated exhaust removal and fit-up.
They are also handy for hanging the gaskets and manifolds together as you align the whole system using only one pair of hands.!!
ALL METAL AEROTIGHT NUTS work the same as Nyloc Nuts (anti-rattle \ shake-proofing) but are designed to work in high-temperature applications - like your exhaust..!!
Ideal for use on after-market Stainless Steel exhaust systems.
These parts fit V4/V6 engines where 5/16 UNC fixings were used - some Ford applications used 3/8 UNC - please double-check and be sure of yours before ordering. We also sell 3/8 UNC exhaust bolts in our other Ford Engine auctions.
