FORD ESCORT 1.8 TD SALOON WITH *VERY RARE WHEELS*

We have here for sale a "P" reg Ford Escort 1.8 TD saloon, custom sprayed in unique Panther Black. It has only covered 64,000 miles.

This is a fantastic car, but a change in circumstances forces a very reluctant sale hence the low starting price. It has had over £4500 spent in it in the last year, and I have outlined some of the money spent below:

The windows have been tinted to legal specifications (£200), "MOTORSPORT" sunstrip on front windscreen.

It is sporting a full bodykit, including GTi front bumper with spotlights, sideskirts and spoiler, as well as two brand new wings and sills which were professionally welded. It has a twin exhaust, which is also very eye-catching.

Wheels on the car are Mk1 RS 1600i alloys (including spare wheel), which cost me £400. These are VERY RARE, especially in such good condition, and will certainly increase further in value over coming years. These are fitted with brand new tyres (£250), including the spare wheel.

It has been fitted with a new alternator, starter motor and timing belts, and had a full service at 50k.

The oil and filters have been changed regularly (current owner is a qualified mechanic), and a new battery has been installed (£50).

Authentic new Ford suspension (February 2009), including:

Front brake discs and pads, wishbones and struts.

Rear brake shoes, shock absorbers and springs, handbrake cable and wheel bearings (approximately £500).

New interior, including seats and seatbacks. The car is fitted with a manual sunroof and deflector.

This is a non-smoker's car, therefore there are no burns etc in the seats or door cards.

The car currently has 9 months MOT, and I will put 6 months tax on the vehicle upon close of auction. All documentation for the car is present, and will be presented with the car upon receipt of payment.

This really is a fantastic car, looks and sounds great - a real head-turner. I will be very sad to see it go - so I hope the above description does it justice!
