Fontanini Special Event Figure "Leora"

New in the original box with story card -- purchased from a gift store that has gone out of business-- is this beautiful Fontanini Nativity figurine, "Leora". The box is dated 2000 and numbered 65346 in the Fontanini Heirloom Nativity 5" Collection. The box shows shelf wear and the Biblical story card is not included.

This is a Fontanini Special Event Figure, which could only be acquired at Open House Events and Fontanini Personal Tour Stops hosted by authorized Fontanini Guild Dealers. The base of the figure bears the Fontanini "fountain" mark as well as the date and "Dep Italy". It is also inscribed with sculptor E. Simonetti's signature.

"Leora lights her lamp to guide her father to the stable, where they heard the newborn King has just been born. When they arrive, they see the true light of the world."

Fontanini is unique! Specially formulated polymer captures every line and texture of master sculptor Elio Simonetti's original and will not chip or break. Each figure is hand painted in the rich colors of Tuscany and antiqued for a distinctive wood carved look. Check my store for more Fontanini Nativity figures. You may want several and I always discount S&H for purchases mailed at the same time.
