Bought from CV leisure in 2005, cost £400 New.

Regular use and well looked after. Selling due to user no longer requiring use of a bike.

Specifications as new:

Weight: 31 kg
Max Speed: 20kmph (12.4 mph)
Maximum loading (inc. rider): 75 kg
Range on full charge: 30-35 km

Range still good, although due to battery use not as far as when new. Will need replacing at some point in the near future.

Will run without pedal assistance, although pedalling puts less strain on the battery and helps it to run for longer.

Folds neatly for storage or for transport, although is generally too heavy to be easily transported on the train for commuters

An excellent bike for short trips, especially for older people seeking to maintain fitness and independence. The electric motor helps on hills, in headwinds and when tired, but the option to pedal helps to keep the rider active.

Pick up in person, although courier would be accepted if buyer is willing to organize and pay for the service. Ideally, however, testing the bike in person before buying would be preferable, as unfortunately returns are not possible.

A: The only info I have is that it is a VRLA (valve-regulated lead acid) gel battery.
