Don’t be fooled into thinking that all cotton, linen etc is the same.
One clue to a good quality fabric is the thread count –
generally speaking a high thread count is the best indicator of quality.

You can find cheap quality fabrics starting from as little as 120 thread count.

** What is True Thread Count?
We've all heard Thread Count to be defined as the number of threads per square inch in a piece of fabric, however this definition doesn't provide a clear or understandable concept of how Thread Count is used in the manufacture and weaving of cotton linen.
Threads of a fabric can be measured in a lab under microscope, to determine exactly how many threads exist in a square inch, and labs can determine the "True Thread Count" of sheets and bed linens.
True, accurate thread counts are comprised of the actual number of yarns - if the yarn is made of more than one Thread (twisted together), then only the actual number of yarns should be counted.
Confusion has been greatly added in the past several years, by manufacturers twisting shorter threads together (known as ply) to create a longer fiber or 'Yarn'. Many manufacturers have been counting these twisted threads individually, rather than only the final created 'Thread'.
In essence, the practice of Multiple-Ply Threads has resulted in False Thread Count Numbers.
The best Sheets are made of Single-Ply, also known as 1-Ply, Long-Yarn fibers.
Multiple-Ply fibers consist of any fiber quantity larger than one, including packages that read 2-Ply, 3-Ply or 4-Ply.

What is Mulberry Silk?
Mulberry silk is the highest quality silk you can purchase. It is made from silkworms that are raised under exacting conditions. It is also the most expensive type of silk.
What makes it so expensive and why is it superior to other types of silk? The Chinese developed a process thousands of years ago and have perfected it, making them the world's experts in producing the finest silk.
The resulting mulberry silk thread is the strongest natural fiber in the world, making it incredibly durable. A silk fiber the same diameter as a fiber of steel is stronger than the steel.
The mulberry silk thread is also rounder, finer, smoother, and a lighter more uniform color than silk harvested from the wild where those silkworms have to eat whatever leaves and plants that are available to them.
A few other features of mulberry silk include it being 100 percent hypoallergenic and also being odorless and not needing any "airing out" before use like some of the lower quality wild silks.

What is Percale Weave?
Percale refers to a closely woven fabric which is a tighter and longer lasting weave style than used in the manufacture of most sheets.
The term "Percale" does not refer to a blend of cotton with other fabrics. The word "Percale" refers to the way the fabric is woven together and has nothing to do with the materials used. A Percale weave is noticeably tighter when compared to the standard type of weave used for bed-sheets. A thread count of 200 or higher is considered Percale.

RETURN DAMAGED GOODS:

On receipt of order please inspect the parcel for any sign of damage.
If any damage is found, please refuse delivery.
If you accept delivery and the damage is found subsequently,
you will need to return the damaged product to us for assessment,
you will be responsible for the cost of returning your goods to us.
If your purchase is damaged in transit we will send you a "no charge" replacement, freight free.

- Machine Wash at 40 degrees centigrade, do not tumble dry, use cool iron on silk areas.
Do not mix wash with other fibers like poly/cotton.
