Fine hand made jewellery box in pimento veneer and solid cherry, 330mm wide, 242mm deep, 117mm high . The box and two trays are constructed using hand-cut dovetail joints. There are marquetry images of a women on the lid swimming towards a partly concealed treasure chest on the front. Both trays are lined with black felt, there is  a space at the bottom of the box which is also lined with black felt. Handles are hand carved in iroko. The hinges are quality Brusso quadrant hinges which have a combined stay to negate the use of a chain on the lid. Finished using sanding sealer then a number of coats of wax.
