From the Author In reply to the reader review, which was almost entirely negative, the book could hardly be called 'thin' when packed with information and ideas and in the physical sense is over two hundred pages more than the previous book on the subject.There are nineteen drawings,if more are wanted, I have a studio full-how many more would you like? As for photos being dated, all were taken during the writing of the book, during the last two years, but they were originally in colour and were reduced to b.+w. by the publisher to reduce costs. Your comments regarding information on techniques of judging distances and shooting slopes- this is the tough bit-there are no easy answers to these and you just have to go out on the course and practise.If the book disappointed you by not giving you the answers you wanted, just find a book that does- this may be difficult, since there are NO books that provide all the answers. Your review was therefore somewhat biased towards the negative. The idea of including something about techniques of top archers is utterly beyond my facilities- I look forward to seeing your own book on this one day. Mike Hamlett-Wood.
