Fiat Punto GT Turbo Gearbox

PUNTO 94-99 GT Turbo 5 Speed Gearbox 1998  

I bought this from a fellow Punto-Sports.co.uk club member as the box on my old GT had started whining badly - I intended to swap them over but decided to sell the car and so this is now surplus and I would say the provenance is good. 

I was told this does not crunch, leak or whine, has come from a 1998 R Reg GT3 (he was having a coupe 16vt conversion installed with gearbox) covering approx 85,000 miles and is generally in good nick.  I did spot the drivers side oil seal on the diff had a tiny nick in it so this box comes with a new original Fiat oil seal still in the original packaging (new unused/unfitted) worth £17.00.

 Its been drained of the old gearbox fluid, degreased and then steam cleaned so its very clean and ready to fit. Its been covered up in my garage only for about 6 weeks. Althought its from a GT3 I do believe those fitted to earlier GT1 and GT2 models were identical but you need to run your own check.  Due to the weight - buyer must collect and its cash on collection only please.  Its heavy but can be moved by one person for short distances. I can help you load it at this end.  For buyers further away 200+miles happy to meet halfway for an additional cost to cover fuel.  If you want the gearbox contact me with your location and I will let you know the extra cost unless you want to drive all the way yourself.
