Fender Telecaster Elite Left handed lefty l/h 1984 USA

1984 USA Left Handed Fender Telecaster Elite. Very Very Rare!! This guitar was only produced for about a year during 1983/84 and is obviously even rarer in left hand. Guitar has just been professionally serviced and set up and apart from barely visible surface scratches and faded white colouring on the knobs and pick ups, the guitar is in almost mint original condition. Comes with original Fender hard shell case which has one broken latch.

This guitar was made with active pickups which can give a sound ranging from the standard telecaster twang to a meatier humbucker sound. The variety of tone and sounds is amazing. The guitar was supposedly designed to try to win over Les Paul players by having the active pickups. Also featues TBX tone control and MBX active mid-boost control.

"The Elite concept was an ambitious project to combine tradition with modern (at the time) technologies with more user-friendly hardware, upgraded electronics and better neck adjustment. The intention was to produce an upgraded version of a classic with a more modern look and feel, and to hopefully entice some Gibson players into the Fender family.
