Nude study #02-01 ----------------------
This print is part of my second series of female studies (twelve images starting with #02-xx). Image sizes are approx. 8x10 inch (may vary). Mounted and bevel window overmatted, as depicted below, to 13x15 inch with Colourmount 100%25 cotton mountboard, to museum standards (a larger 16x20" mount is available as an option - see store).
You are bidding on the print depicted (you are viewing a scan from the actual print, not from the negative) which is made on Cranes Crest watercolour paper, hand coated by brush with platinum-palladium metals and contact printed under UV light with the same size negative.
Platinum prints show an extraordinary tonal richness and the longest permanency of any printing process (many centuries) as well as an unique tactile quality. They are obviously valuable and expensive to make.
Printed in an edition of twenty-four prints only in three tiers, the price will raise as the edition sells. After twenty-four prints the negative will be retired and the image will not be available anymore.
The print is numbered and signed and it also comes with a personalised COA. Print, mount, presentation and packaging are FLAWLESS to gallery standards. Please see here how the prints are mounted and presented.

About the artist:
Luca Paradisi is an Italian artist living and working in Ireland since late 1999. He is interested in art expressed mostly through the photographic medium. Subjects include the Irish landscape as well as still life, abstracts, nudes, and more conceptual work. Being an experienced photographer and printmaker for over two decades, he is at ease with many different equipment and printing techniques. He is the author of a successful platinum printmaking ebook, bestseller on eBay. He has also been offering his printing service to other photographers and artists for quite some time with great satisfaction. Prints are traditionally hand made (platinum-palladium) and sometimes digitally (pigmented inks on archival paper), always to the highest standards of quality and permanency. Luca's gallery quality prints have been locally published and adorn many premises and homes throughout Ireland, in Europe and overseas, where he has many collectors, especially from America. His work can be seen at all the major art events in the South West of Ireland, at his West Cork studio, and on his two web sites. Since 2003 Luca's work is also being offered at a special price here on eBay, where it has received a warm welcome with over 1,000 prints sold with 100%25 all positive feedback, mostly from repeat buyers and art collectors.
