Nice bronze scarce high grade coin struck within a set from 1874 to 1900. This group was designated as 'Bun' Young Head Issues. To note hard circulation wear and tear. Queen Victoria was born on 24 May 1819, and was enthroned since 1837 to 1901 (died on 22nd. January of 1901, aged 81 years) the longest reign of any Monarchy so far. She married a German (prince Albert) with whom she enjoyed 17 years of Marriage. Upon Albert's death She became the "Widow of Windsor) extending into a 25 year period of mourning. During Her reign Britain achieved the zenith of power and wealth, created by the engineering expansion and the wealth from the Colonies. As earlier as 1851, it was the Great Exhibition which represented the sign of the most powerful of the largest Empire in the World. |
