Although we aim to ship within 24 hours of receiving cleared payment, Monday to Friday, we do state that shipping will be within 3 working days. This covers us for life's unexpected twists which prevent us from posting straight away for you! We are unable to post any items on a Saturday. Please remember that your item is coming from Jersey, Channel Islands and may take a day or so longer than internal UK postings - please do bear this in mind when leaving us feedback and stars!
We send all items using Jersey Post and Royal Mail, if you want recorded delivery please ask us and we will include this on our invoice. For UK parcels recorded delivery is an extra 68p.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES - All our newer listings now state the actual postage rates for most International destinations. Please check the drop downs for details of postage costs to your area. Occasionally our listings will include an estimated rate - please contact us before bidding/buying for an exact quote.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ITEM THAT GETS LOST IN THE POST -we always obtain a certificate of posting and will assist you in making a claim - we we not cover the loss ourselves - We post and can not be responsible if the Royal Mail can not deliver!
U K ROYAL MAIL/CUSTOMS - PLEASE READ - THIS IS IMPORTANT - We have had several parcels be stopped in Customs/BY THE ROYAL MAIL and for some disgraceful reason the Customer has had to pay VAT and a Handling Fee to release their items. We are happy to refund you the £8.00 handling fee that you will be charged (what a cheek!) but however we will not cover the VAT that UK residents will be charged. We think that this is absolutely dreadful that the ROYAL MAIL charge VAT and HANDLING CHARGES on parcels from Jersey. VERY FEW get stopped and it is a real lottery that your parcel will be but be have to mention this now. We will refund you the handling fee but you will have to cover the VAT sorry. |
