Shipping

We aim to dispatch all items within 24 - 48 hours of receipt of payment.  However, on most occasions, items can be dispatched same day. We cannot accept any liability or responsibility for delivery times.

We take pride in wrapping our items carefully and use appropriate materials according to the fragility of the item. 

Wrapping materials cost money and it is our responsibility to limit any damage that may occur in transit.

We keep our postage and packaging charges to an absolute minimum.

UK DELIVERY PRICES ARE FOR DESTINATIONS DEFINED BY ROYAL MAIL AS UK MAINLAND ONLY - THIS MAY NOT INCLUDE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND, ISLE OF MAN, HIGHLANDS, ISLANDS OF SCOTLAND OR ISLES OF SCILLY.

Return Postage
Items requiring return, for whatever reason, should be posted using 2nd Class Recorded Delivery, where possible, as we will only refund reasonable postage charges in the case of faulty items and we cannot accept liability for parcels not received under any circumstances. 

The buyer is responsible for any postage costs they incur in returning the item to us for any reason, unless the return is due to the receipt of a faulty item where not described in the listing as being faulty.

When a parcel leaves us, it leaves in perfect condition. When received if there is any damage to the parcel or packaging this would have happened whilst in transit, so please take time to inspect your parcel before signing for it as no claims can be made if you accept a damaged parcel and do not sign for it as damaged. If you do not have time to inspect the item please sign for it as unchecked.

General Information

Always read the item description in full before bidding/buying and please report any discrepancies to us to enable us to improve our future listings.  It is the buyer's reponsibility to satisfy themselves, by asking us any questions, prior to committing to buy.

All our items are either new, surplus stock / ex-display or demonstration models, or as otherwise described in the listing. We are careful to list what is included in the Item Description section above which should also advise what we consider the condition of the item to be. If the Item Description does not clearly state the condition, please email us for confirmation. 

The items we supply may or may not come with a manufacturerÂ’s warranty card. It is at the manufacturerÂ’s discretion if they honour their warranty.

Our aim is to provide the best service on eBay and one which we would ourselves expect.

If the original instructions are not available for an item, we will endeavour to provide them electronically where you specifically request them.

Refunds for Faulty Items 

Grumpy Greyhound guarantees that all items we sell will work on arrival as they are fully tested prior to listing. 

We will be happy to replace any items that are found to be faulty on arrival, or where we reach agreement that the items does not closely match our description.  This promise of refund does not include software which has been opened where sold sealed.

We must be contacted within 7 Days from the date and time of purchase by you. The item must be returned within 14 days of date of purchase. 

We will not accept any responsibility for damages or consequential loss arising out of the customer's failure to satisfy themselves that the item is fit-for-purpose within the initial 7 day period.  Where applicable, we comply strictly with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 Amended by The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling)(Amendment) Regulations 689/2005.

We will issue you with an authorisation number which you must include with the returned item together with a concise description of what you believe is wrong with the item. The more complete information you can give will assist us in identifying any alleged fault and returning a replacement to you. 

We reserve the right to offer a refund where we cannot offer a suitable replacement. 

Replacements will be dispatched within 7 days of receipt of item considered to be faulty once we have received the item back and confirmed that it is faulty and confirmed the serial number and our security mark, where necessary. 

Refunds for Non-Faulty Items.

Where an item is not wanted or is re-tested upon return and found not to be faulty (relative to your written description of the fault and/or manufacturer'sinstructions, refunds are for the itme value only. 

We do not refund any postage in the event of the Buyer no longer wanting the item.  This statement complies with the CP (Distance Selling) Regulations.

Items must be posted using a recorded delivery service with an appropriate level of compensation for loss or damage as we cannot accept liability for parcels not received. 

We will not accept items back if they are not in their original packaging and complete with all the accessories as listed in the original listing. Failure to return in a complete state will render you liable for the full cost of replacement of the missing element(s).
