This is a Fabulous Edwardian Lace and Fur Trimmed Evening Coat, label in the back reads Rolf and Cie, Paris.

The basic fabric is net, which has been closely embroidered? in sworls etc, to make quite a firm fabric for the main body, it reminds me of wriggle work. The bottom is trimmed with a deep panel of rabbits? fur. The facings of the coat and the sleeves, have narrow bands of fur. Between the fur and the embroidery is a band of silk crepe, unfortunately this has not worn well, it has nearly all disintergrated around the neck and front and it is going around the bottom. So please be aware this fabulous coat will need some repair. It is fashionable even today, and quality, so would be well worth repairing. It is difficult to show the damage around the neck, as it will not lie flat.

The sleeves are wide at the cuff and shaped to a V.

Condition as already mentioned. An occasional loose thread on the embroidery, but not many
