YOU LOVE THE 4" VERSION OF THIS,BUT ASKED FOR A WIDER ONE FOR BIG PELMETS AND LARGER STIFFENING JOBS,SO HERE IT IS! AND IT WORKS OUT CHEAPER THAN THE 4" ON A PRICE PER SQUARE FOOT BASIS!
This is a heavy nonwoven fabric,12" or 30cms wide,fusible(iron on) on both sides.It is used to make those nice shaped tiebacks,and because it is iron-on you can make a very professional smooth finish to the cloth. It can obviously be used for pelmet work and tabs,and is useful for any job where heavy reinforcement is needed.It is of course washable and drycleanable,and is like a very,very thick Vilene.
"Buckram" is what it is called,but it is of course nothing like real buckram,which went out of use for most purposes centuries ago! You will get I METRE FOR £1-20
