String of 100 SKY BLUE CROW BEADS (approx. 10mm. dia.). They have large holes allowing them to be easily strung on buckskin laces. I got these from the warehouse of the old Plume Trading Company in New York. They were still wrapped in paper kilo packages that had a German stamp on them. It is interesting to note that the string they are strung on is made from twisted paper. I'm told paper was used in place of string because it was much cheaper. This style bead dates well back into the 1800's. These particular ones were probably made around 1900. Buyer pays postage and insurance. We will combine multiple winning bids to save you some postage. SEE OUR ITEMS LIST FOR OTHER INTERESTING THINGS. Low starting bid with no reserve. |
