"The most important task for car industry nowadays is improvement of fuel combustion inside the engine. It's achievable by Magnetic Activation"

Jacques Calvert, former President of PEUGUEOT-CITROEN

YES !!!

We completely agree with Mr.Calvert because magnetic fluid conditioning is not a kind of magic but neglected part of science called magnetohydrodynamics.

It's nothing new but proven and tested over last 50years technology as you can read down description of our product, its history (you could read the article: "RAF, NASA & Magnetizers"- below in the description), testimonials and FAQs... Thanks to new neodymium magnets this devices are small and still powerful enough to affect any passing-by fluid: water, fuel or gas! Water is not the only fluid that can benefit from magnetohydrodynamics. Subjecting gasoline and diesel fuel to a magnetic field results in more complete combustion of that fuel. Magnetically treated fuel becomes much softer - it has lower surface tension so it cleans the carbon build-up from injectors and valves and sprays into smaller droplets. Such fuel has also a tendency to attract oxygen molecules when mixed with air in a combustion cylinder.

Clean injectors, clean engine  =  better performance !

The result is a more efficient and complete combustion of the fuel throughout the entire chamber, generating more energy from the same amount of fuel, and reducing environmentally harmful hydrocarbon emissions. Whether it's water for your home, office, or swimming pool, or fuel for your vehicles, magnetohydrodynamics makes a positive difference. Magnetic fluid conditioning is a technology that is here to stay.

Stop scale build-up and corrosion in the engine !

Magnetized fuel burns better and cleans your engine as you drive, which in turn can lead to better fuel economy and engine's longevity. Although the benefits may be evident almost straightaway, for best results allow up to few thousands miles.

The Fuel Saving Device You Can Depend On!

Auction includes:

Turbomag Max (40x30x10mm)

1 Red Magnetizer (pole S) - for fuel main line, cable ties and detailed instruction sheet.

NOTICE:

  • Will Turbomag effect my vehicle’s warranty? NO. Since Turbomag is designed to be fastened onto the outside of a fuel line, not cutting into it, it will not void any warranties.

  • For all diesel engines two Magnetizers should be applied!
  • For petrol engines bigger than 2.0l two Magnetizers should be applied!

We recommend to install an extra magnetizer on cooling pipe coming into cars radiator and another one on oil filter. Applied on cooling pipe it gives an extra boost to the engine cleaning proces and prevents engine overheating by removing water limescale. When extra one used on oil filter it removes ferrous particles down to submicron sizes, enhances cleaning capacity of the filter and adhesive characteristic of the oil, similar to Castrol's Magnatec.

What type of behaviour can be expected from newly magnetized car?

In new engines immediately evident will be an increase in the power/mpg. This is the newly energized fuel exploding in the combustion chambers. In old engines, depending upon the carbon & varnish condition of the system, the extra mpg may be reduced temporarily. In old engines it can even take up to few thousands miles! This is a result of the MAGNETIZED fuel’s cleaning capability, dissolving the carbon and the varnish build-up from within the system. It occurs when tiny particulates may briefly impede the fuel flow. The particulate will dissolve. The power will then return, signifying the completion of the “cleaning” stage. At this point, the jets, lines, and injectors return to peak efficiency. Cleaning to Factory – New Specs, thereby running a cleaner, more efficient engine, which of course lasts longer with improved performance.

In engines with a carburetor a small adjustment will be required: after about 1000miles, increase amount of air and decrease amount of fuel coming into the carburetor as the fuel/air mix is now too rich due to magnetic conditioning of the fuel.

In EFI engines the self-adjustment of Electronic Fuel Injection system occurs in most of the cases. It takes about 1000miles of driving. However, sometimes in the past, fuel savers would not work when applied to fuel injection because fuel injection systems are actually designed to prevent efficient combustion! Resetting of a system is required in such a case.
Increasing the combustion efficiency of an engine decreases amount of CO in the exhaust gas thus increases the exhaust oxygen percentage. Most fuel injection engines use an oxygen sensor to infer the air/fuel ratio of the engine, the increased oxygen content in the exhaust is 'read' by the computer to be a lean mixture in the engine. The computer then adds extra fuel to bring the pollution back to 'normal'! In order to avoid this simply reset car's computer by disconnecting car's battery for about 1 hour, or even better, 1 night. After reconnecting it switch the car on and drive for about 5-10 miles. Remember to have radio pin code with you, just in case you'd be asked to put the one to unlock the radio.

    Installing Turbomag

    1.  Locate the fuel supply line under pressure feeding the engine from the fuel tank. Vehicles with fuel injection engines normally have two lines running parallel between the fuel tank and the engine, a supply line and a return line. While the engine is running, feel the lines and the colder one of the two will be the supply line.

    2.  Insert the nylon tie through the grooves that have the tie retainer slot. This is to help hold the tie in position while applying the Turbomag to the fuel line.

    3.  Simply place the Turbomag over the fuel supply line, at the accessible location as close to the carburetor or fuel injection system as possible. However do not install the Turbomag in close proximity to the alternator or any electromagnetic energy source. Even installation on a metal line has given good performance. Good radiation can be achieved even through the metal nevertheless it takes more time to get its full potential. Do not install the device on braided metal fuel line. This should be replaced for base metal, rubber or plastic fuel pipe.

    4.  Complete installation by wrapping the tie completely around the Turbomag making sure the tie fits into the side grooves. Trim off the excess tie.

Due to the cleaning and removal process of the carbon/varnish deposits inside the cylinders, the fuel consumption may temporarily increase during the initial cleaning cycle. Mileage will stabilise after a short time. Noticeable improvement may take up to four tanks of fuel and, for optimum results to be achieved, please allow 1,000 miles or 3 full tanks of gas. A clean air filter, or a measure of carburetor or injector cleaner mixed in the fuel will also help to give faster results and regular servicing is obviously still necessary. Increased performance and smoother running will often also be noticed.

If it's so good why not used by car industry?

It's a very good question! Why big car companies are not interested in all benefits achievable by using magnetic technologies in cars? But the real question is: would they profit on it? Think about it, who would profit? Customer would - of course! Customers will spend lees on fuel, less on repairs and spares! Who would loose? Those who produce spares do a service and those who sale fuels and those who put on and collect fuel taxes! Permanently cleaned engine means a clean spark plug, less damage to a catalytic converter, less overheating as a limescale is removed from an engine, less harm to a radiator etc... At the end of the day we can see that THEY would loose a lot of money on servicing and spares selling. An american company producing fuel magnetizers made a simulation for 10% savings on fuels consumed by all Federal Agencies in USA. IRS would loose 12bln $ on fueltax per year...

Why should I purchase it over other brands?

Turbomag is the only magnetic fuel saving device that does the following: optimises fuel economy and horse power while being compact enough to accommodate all the twists, turns and tight areas of the gas line, unlike other much bulkier devices.

Turbomag is built with neodymium conductor magnet N38H (works up to 120'C) which contains more magnetic power, spread over a much longer area, thus maximises the effect. Each set is tested before being sent out. Internal magnetic flux of Turbomag is about 6300Gauss which gives about 3500Gauss on the surface of a magnet. Enough power to affect any flowing-by fluid.

All at the same time being one of the most inexpensive Gas Saving Devices of its kind on the market. Turbomag by conditioning fuel improves engine performance and helps vehicle start quicker. Stops scale build up and corrosion in engine. Reduces wear on O2 sensor and catalytic converter and also helps to pass the emission test. In addition to increasing fuel efficiency, when properly magnetized, diesel fuel will resist gelling. (Gelling is a temperature induced “crystallisation” that can be considered somewhat analogous to the scaling mechanism in an aqueous solution). This means that during cold weather, special fuel additives may be eliminated. Also, for the same oxygen bonding and cleaning reasons as outlined above, immediately apparent is the increase in available power and the marked reduction in the exhaust smoking normally associated with diesel power.

    RAF, NASA & Magnetizers

For many years, scientists and technologists have been investigating magnetism and its role in our contemporary society. The moment we pick up a phone, little magnets inside create the sound of our voices. When we start a car in the morning or turn on the lights at night, all is made possible by magnetic fields generating electricity to your home or throughout your vehicle. Magnetism is everywhere. From the micro world of atoms to the macro galaxy of the stars, magnetism is the natural glue that holds the universe together.

The science of magnetizing fluids (magnetohydrodynamics) dates back many years. In the early 1800s, Michael Faraday, the English scientist of electricity and magnetism, experimented with magnetizing water. Faraday discovered that water flowing past a conductive material will generate a weak electrical charge. The first known patent of a device that affected water by the use of a solid magnet was filed in Germany in 1890. In the 1930s, the American scientist Albert Roy Davis, established that biological organisms react differently to each pole of a magnet. Then, in 1945, the European inventor Vermerian developed the first commercial magnetic conditioner to treat industrial hardwater problems.

At the turn of the century a Dutch physicist, Dr. Johannes Diderik van der Waals, discovered that hydrogen has certain structures, which, when combined with carbon, form pseudo compounds. These molecular forces (“van der Waals forces”), when influenced by a magnetic field bind with additional oxygen, which may result in dramatic increases in combustion efficiency.  In 1910 he received a Nobel Prize for this discovery.

You can read more about van der Waals forces on: http://www.chemguide.co.uk/atoms/bonding/vdw.html#top

Hydrogen is the lightest and most basic element known to man. With its simple structure consist of only one proton and one electron, it is one of the major ingredient of all hydrocarbon-based fuels. By studying the response of hydrogen with respect to magnetic field and the associated increase of energy output, much can be learned and applied to other related fuels. In the oxidation/combustion of hydrocarbon fuels (fossil fuels), it is the outer shell of the hydrogen that is combusted first.

Hydrogen, the first element of the chemical periodic chart, has the atomic number 1 and the atomic weight 1.0079. Since it possesses only one electron, it has the valence of positive 1. Even though hydrogen is the simplest of all elements, it possesses two distinctive forms: ortho-hydrogen and para-hydrogen. To secure conversion of para to ortho state, it is necessary to change the energy of interaction between nuclear spins. One of the methods is to apply strong magnetic field to the fuel. The molecules of the two gases, para and ortho-hydrogen differ in the relative orientation of the nuclear spins of the protons. In para molecules the spins of the protons are anti-parallel to the spins of the electrons, while in the ortho molecule the spins are parallel. The para molecules occupy the even rotational levels, and the ortho molecules occupy the odd levels.

    proton

The orientations of the spins have a pronounced effect on the behaviour of the molecule. In fact, ortho-hydrogen is unstable and more reactive than its para-hydrogen counterpart. The liquid hydrogen fuel that is used to power the space shuttle is stored in the para-hydrogen form, which is less volatile to prevent incidents. On the other hand it’s more beneficent to have automotive fuel in ortho state that is more reactive. Fuel magnetizer was design to change fuel properties into ortho state. By delivering more dynamic fuel into combustion chamber we are now attracting more air into combustion process. Moreover, clustered fuel molecules under influence of strong magnetic charge will be broken into smaller components and will have better bonding abilities with oxygen molecules.

The basic principles of magnetizing fuel were utilised by NASA to help stabilise their hydrogen rockets. Hydrogen is the key element in fuel and water and NASA helped set the course to the future benefits of magnetic systems in our daily life.

However, a difficulty in creating a sufficiently intense magnetic field hindered any commercial application until late in the 20th century, the theory behind using a powerful magnetic field to improve fuel burn in combustion engines is nothing new. The use of magnetic fields to improve the performance of combustion was reported as early as the 1940s. The U.S. Air Force used a device on their Mustang aircraft which allowed greater range and better performance from poor quality fuels. This proved very successful, and was subsequently used by the Royal Air Force on Spitfire and Hurricane aircrafts.

In the UK, planes were being fitted with electromagnets as ‘scarf’ collectors as the planes were being built so quickly. Pilots found extra performance when the electromagnets were switched on.

The devices used back then were very heavy and cumbersome as they had to use electromagnetism to produce the required strength of magnetic field. But now, with the advantage of new neodymium super magnets, even more powerful magnetic fields can be generated by units little larger than a matchbox.

During II World War German Air Forces -Luftwaffe, used magnetic rods positioned along fuel lines to reduce exhaust smokes from plaines engines and make them less visible to their enemies.

Specialists from Messerschmitt worked on the problem of eliminating smoke from the exhaust gases of fighter planes and bombers.  As a solution to this problem they designed a magnetic device (“jet fuel energizer”) consisting of a ceramic element with a hole for the fuel line, around which rod magnets were placed.  They found a configuration of the magnets which reduced the smoke of the aircraft engine exhaust gases to the bare minimum.  The reduced fuel consumption was regarded as a beneficial side effect!

Meanwhile, in the U.S., for years “old-timers” who piloted their fishing boats out of Murro Bay in California would strap horseshoe magnets around their fuel lines. They swore that the magnets saved fuel and made their engines run or start better and ... they were right. In the United States the commercial use of magnets for fluid conditioning started in the 1950s with the pioneering patent of Dean Moody, the world precursor of that form of fluid conditioning.

In 1954 a complaint was lodged with FTC (Federal Trade Commission) against a company manufacturing the magnetic units, and FTC issued an injunction (administrative order) prohibiting further production, based on a false allegation that these units did not work. In 1961 the federal court ruled against the FTC, as court records revealed that only 3% of the 100,000 units sold actually malfunctioned!

The next chapters were written in the 60’s by Saburo Miyata Moriya (who worked on the so called “wet” devices) and in the 70’s by American inventor Roland Carpenter. In the 80’s Peter Kulish, an inventor from California designed the so called monopole system which strapped onto lines.

In the 1990s British inventor Nigel Broderick, founder of Ecoflow, developed “Central Reverse Polarity” and developed fuel conditioners using high-tech neodymium “rare earth” magnets.  These devices were exhaustively tested by the DTI and found to give around 11% improvement in fuel consumption, with reduced emissions.

Magnets and magnetic field plays important role in many inventions and today’s technology. More engineers than ever are looking into applications involving magnetic energy. It should be noted that magnets are the prime control source of the position of electrons. For example, a magnetic coil controls the electrons in audio speakers or television’s tube. In a similar manner strong magnetic field can affect electrons' behaviour in hydrocarbon fuel.
