FRENCH ANTIQUE HOME SPUN AND HAND WOVEN OFF-WHITE SET OF 6 LINEN AND HEMP CLOTH NEVER USED C. 1900. THE 6 PIECES WERE FORMELY HAND TOWELS.  NOWADAYS THEY MAKE MAGNIFICENT DOUBLE PLACEMATS/TABLE RUNNERS FOR 2. THEY ARE INCREDIBLY TRENDY. THEY ARE PLACED ACROSS THE TABLE FOR 2 GUESTS. THEREFORE, THE SET OF 6 IS TO BE USED FOR 12 GUESTS. EACH PIECE HAS A VERY TEXTURED FABRIC WITH A LOT OF CHARM AND CHARACTER. IT HAS A MONOGRAM ON ONE SIDE. THE MONOGRAM IS HAND EMBROIDERED WITH RED THREAD "HM" WITH CROSS STICHES.

RARE TO SEE IN SUCH BEAUTIFUL CONDITION 6 PIECES OVER 100 YEARS OLD. THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN USED. NO DAMAGE, NO SIGN OF WEAR. THEY ARE FRESHLY LAUNDERED AND PRESSED. THEY SHOW SOME STORAGE MARKS WHICH WILL GO AFTER A WASH OR SO.

MEASUREMENTS: APPROX. 15 1/2" (39,5CM) x 63" (160 x 160CM).
