opalescent 1930 art deco lamp Wonderful french 1930 art deco lamp in wrought iron. The 22 cm large opalescent shade is unsigned but certainly made by either Ezan or Sabino. A rare model we don't come across every day and of high quality opalescent semi-crystal. A technique forbidden by law in 1946 cause of the high percentage of arsenic used by the production this shade can be dated 1930-1937. Beautiful tones of blue and amber depending the angle of the light shining on the shade as we know from the best opalescent glasses like Sabino Lalique Verlys or Ezan pieces. Very good condition. No chips or other damages. The stand in nickeled wrought iron has a nice patina with slight wear in the nickel. The lamp is rewired and has a small screw socket (E14) for which a 220 volt bulb will be added. More on request. The support holding the glass has been renewed. The lamp is 27,3 cm high. When you're interested: I have a second one of these lamps so a pair is possible. Shipping costs for the UK and most other european countries is 20 pound.
