JEWELRY ITEMS!! This fabulous flea market find is a delicious 1920's French glass beaded necklace and an amazing, similar colored pair of French Cuff links. A gorgeous and very heavy, short strand necklace from the heydays of the 1920's. Each bead is a slightly out of round orb shape, approx. 7/16 inch across. The beads are an incredible shimmering mint green confection with a much paler mint, almost white melded through them. These beads are on the original knotted cord. They show no chips or nibbles at all. The cordage is very robust & intact, but does show slight fraying at some locations. Length is just over 16 inches. The strand has original, fully functioning, chunky brass barrel clasp . This early barrel clasp is visibly marked "Made in France". These are very heavy, solid beads - the necklace has good weight and sits high with a slight drape when worn. Any light or movement brings out the color textures, especially on black! Very nicely proportioned. The cuff links are very petite and an excellent color match. They are very similarly colored but a shade or 2 darker - they augment the necklace very nicely but stand alone by themselves very well. The cuff links are the French style and measure a demure 1.1 cm across in their lightly patinated brass frames. Both items are in exceptional condition with no substantial scratches or fine chipping noted. ENJOY!
