Nintendo have starting a new promotion entitled the "Connection Ambassador Promotion" which will seek to promote users to connect their Wiis to the Internet.
The deal works by offering 500 Wii Points to whoever shows another Wii user how to connect to the Internet.
The person who connects their Wii for the first time will be asked to give the name of an Ambassador,
and upon doing so, will redeem the points for themselves.


For this you need to
Complete the registration process within 30 days of the first time you log on to the internet using your Wii
Shopping channel. So even if you have logged on to the Internet using Wii for the first time within last 29 days you still have 1 day :)

If you have not logged on at all than follow the connection steps below and help yourself get points.

1. On the Wii console's main menu, click on the 'Wii button' in the lower left corner.
2. This will take you to the settings screen. On this screen, click on 'Wii Settings'
3. In the Wii System Settings, click on the blue arrow on the right to reach the second screen of options. On this screen, click the 'Internet' button.
4. Select 'Connection Settings'.
5. Select an open connection, which is indicated by 'None', as shown:
6. Select 'Wireless Connection'.
7. If you wireless router is on Select 'Searc for a accespoint'
8. The following set of screens require you to input settings for the name and password and you are done.

Once the connection is establised , select the shopping channel from your Wii Menu.
When you log on to the shopping channel at the bottom of the
screen you would see a button "Connection Ambassador promotion",
click on it.

On the next screen
You would see a button on the right with a yello image,
"Person who was helped", click on it.

There you need to Enter a Wii number of the person who has helped
you. Please enter 5535 1174 0656 0174 there and press ok.

You may be asked te age of the person who helped you setup the connection.
Select Between 20-29

You may also be asked the kind of help done  
Select Arrangement for internet connection

You are half way through.

Now you need to send me your wii number so that I can enter it
and Nintendo is informed from both ends that you have been helped.

If you are not sure how to get your Wii number follow the below steps.

1. Go to your Wii main menu
2. On the botton right there would be a message icon.
If you put your curson over it it would say"Wii message board"
Click on it.
3. ON the next screen, on left hand side bottom of your screen
you would see 2 icons. The second would say create a new message.
Click on it.
4.ON the next screen you would see 3 icons and one of them would
say "Address book", click on it.
5.When you click on Address book you should be able to
see your wii's console number. Please email it to me.
 
You can track your registration progress  from the Ambasssador program screen.
You should sortly receive 500 wii points.:)
