The 1943 British year set contains the complete nine coins all issued and dated from the year, namely: halfcrown, florin, Scottish and English shilling, sixpence, silver threepence (these six all struck in 50% silver), brass threepence, halfpenny and farthing (no penny was issued dated 1943). All of the coins are in Fine (or better) condition. We don't clean/polish coins as this will devalue the collection: find out why The set does include the rare 1943 silver threepence (beware of similar products that omit this more expensive coin). This would make a wonderful and original gift for someone born or married in 1943 as 2009 would be their 66th birthday or anniversary!
