A very good used conditionsoftcover book (minor edgewear; bottom right corner slightly dogeared; price sticker on back), of 160 pages with some b&w photographs and illustrations. Pages clean and crisp.
 
Even after the end of the War in Europe, the death and surffering continued in the Far East for a further two months until the Japanese surrender on 15th August 1945. This book contains the stories of six POWs and graphically illustrates the pain and torture these men endured at the hands of their barbaric Japansese captors.
 
Airmail only outside Europe.
