FORD ESCORT 1100 RS 2000 2.0 pinto, bubble arch, rally

my girlfriend inherited this from her dad, it is registered to her, currently sorn, it was in the process of being turned into a rally car. we are not 100% sure on the spec.

it is a 2 door non sunroof shell in reasonable condition, the arches have been cut out to accept bubble forest arches but they were never fitted, we have fibreglass ones to go with car. it has holes in front and rear floors where rollcage was in there (no longer fitted and doesnt come with car) inner wing on drivers side by strut top has been pumped full of silicone by previous owner so had rot there, drivers side around headlight is rotten, and rear chassis rail where spring hanger mounts is starting to go (cant remember which side) strut tops have been welded/strengthened. boot floor is good, all outside panels are good, doors, boot bonnet etc. it has no interior, has 6 dial dash and rs steering wheel i think, 4 spoke alloys, princess 4 pots i think with capri discs, spax shocks, capri struts, car comes as pictured, we also have square headlights and grille not fitted. battery well in boot floor, standard fuel tank. the paintwork will polish up ok. used to be good when her dad got the car.

2.0 pinto, originally it had a lightened and balanced bottom end, high compression pistons, big valve head, rally cam, vernier pulley, webber dcoe 40's, type 9 5 speed box, uprated clutch, atlas axle (not sure if it still has atlas on there) we got it running not long ago, doesnt smoke knock or rattle, it was tappety but hadn't been run in over 6 months. immobiliser has to be bypassed to get it running as we dont know how to dis-rm it.

at the moment the brakes are stuck on and clutch is stuck so wont drive. it was stored outside for a few months.

the car has no tax or mot, sold as spares or repair, will have to be trailered away. no overseas bidders, cash on collection only, viewing welcome and recomended. car is located near tiverton in devon.

also forgot to mention the car is tax exempt, also has a valuable number plate on it, GPN 107L

we have found rear seats to go with car, also a second hand un painted rollcage not fitted that will come with the car.

we also have spare standard pinto block and head and injection, a mk1 smith and deaken fibreglass bonnet which will be offered to winning bidder for extra money, this is not included in this listing!
