FORD CONSUL Mk2 LOWLINE,RUST FREE DRY STORED 21 YEARS.

Ford Consul Mk2 Lowline Four Door Saloon.     This vehicle has been in dry storage for the past 21 years and is in pretty much original condition,the underside,chassis inner wings ect are in excellent rot free condition due to the previous owners oil spraying the underside at regular intervels,the body is likewise with original steel wings,wheel arches,sills,boot floor,inner arches,floor pans ect,there is one small area on the rear corner of the o/s/r door showing a couple of small bubbles but thats about it!.   The vehicle starts/runs and stops,a new exhaust,cb points,condensor,distributor cap,oil + filter and cylinder head gasket has been fitted.  The vehicle benifits from a full interior retrim including roof headlining but excluding carpets,front/rear bumpers have been rechromed.    A budget respray was carried out just before it was laid up and is now starting to lift in places so she will need a paint job in the not too distant future.

Winning bidder retacted his/her bid with the explanation of 'entered wrong amount',apparently they do this quite often with bids retracted on FORD and BMW cars in the last few days,I think they must get a buzz out of exposing peoples reserve price,they did not view the vehicle or make any contact,obviously a special needs person and someone to look out for.
