CHEERS - COLCHESTER BAG THE WATNEY CUP!

The Football League Review was a nifty little 24-page A5 publication which used to be an interesting insert in the match programmes of most League clubs. This particular one, from the 1971/72 season - there's no actual date given - features the Watney Cup final in which Colchester did a spot of giant-killing, winning the crown on penalties after a thrilling 4-4 draw with West Bromwich Albion.

There's a colour centre-page spread of Colchester players with the trophy, while the cover features a legend from each side, Colchester's Brian Gibbs and Albion hero John Kaye.
