The Football League Review was a nifty little 24-page A5 publication which used to be an interesting insert in the match programmes of most League clubs. This particular one, from the 1971/72 season - there's no actual date given - features a cover picture of Manchester United star Alan Gowling, honouring his achievement of being one of only two players to score four goals in a match during the previous season.

There's a colour centre-page spread of a Wrexham team picture with some legendary names from an era when Wrexham were a more feared force than perhaps they are today - players such as Eddie May, Albert Kinsey, Arfon Griffiths, Brian Tinnion and Gordon Livsey.
