FOOTBALL LEAGUE REVIEW - ARSENAL STAR BOB McNAB ON THE COVER
*****************
The Football League Review was a nifty little 24-page A5 publication which used to be an interesting insert in the match programmes of most League clubs. This particular one, from the 1971/72 season - there's no actual date given - features a cover picture of Arsenal defender Bob McNab. As ever in this edition there was plenty of fascinating reading, including one article suggesting that "anyone middle-aged should not stand for three hours in a football ground on an empty stomach"! The Review always featured a double-page colour team picture on its centre-spread - this one is of a vintage Newcastle squad including such Tyneside legends as Bobby Moncur, Irving Nattrass, John Tudor, Malcolm MacDonald and Tommy Cassidy.
