This is usually because the manufacturers either supply no aerial or a bit of wire the size of a shoelace and a little plastic square, - ( or because you live in a big hole where even NASA can't find you )

A cheap and easy solution without going to the expense of fitting an outdoor Antenna is this top quality Signal Boosting FM and AM indoor Aerial.

Simply plug it into the mains and sockets at the back of your Hi-FI, Home Theatre system or Tuner and stand it nearby,  if you are in a particularly bad reception area you can turn up the signal strength to suit.
