SIZE IS A 2" ASA 300lbs "TYPE E" ( FULL FACE )

All sizes are available from 1/2" up to 24" nominal bore

Each set comprises of:-

1 Full face central gasket ( Neoprene faced phenolic )

1 full length Insulation sleeve per bolt ( Mylar )

2 Reinforced phenolic washers per bolt

2 Zinc plated mild steel washers per bolt

Main uses include:-

Sealing the flanges when bolted together.

Cathodic protection, this protects against cathodic pitting of the flange faces which normally happens when two flanges come together and an electro static charge builds up in the pipe due to the spiraling friction of the liquid that is passing through it.

Prolonging the life of a flange,

When using one of these sets no part of one flange touches the other when assembled thereby stopping the flow of static.
