I have owned this lovely clock for a few years but now Regrettably I need to sell it to make a bit of space!

A large Oak cased Bracket clock by top German makers GUSTAV BECKER with large heavy brass three train Westminster chime movement which plays on each 1/4 getting progressively longer with the whole tune played on the hour followed by the hours struck on long bronze gong rods

On the back of the clock is a Silver plate dating the clock to around 1910 as a Golden Wedding Anniversary present

Back plate is stamped with the Gustav Becker and Medaille Dor logos

Runs for 8 days on a wind and the chime can be advanced by a small lever accessed through the right hand glazed door or can be repeated by the small lever accessed through the left hand door

Above the main dial is the subsidiary dial which turns chime on or off 

Both the side doors have thick bevelled glass as does the front door which encloses the silvered foliate dial surround and chapter ring

It has nice Fluer de llys blued hands and an ornate brass key which locks the front door if required

A top quality clock by a top maker which will increase in value over the years

I draw your attention to the small dent on the top left moulding which has been photographed but should be highlighted to be accurate although it does not detract from the overall look

Please note that this clock weighs in at 8 kg before packing and I would rather not risk it in the postal system so would prefer it picked up or you could arrange a courier or I am willing to meet you half way if my costs are paid.Just let me know before bidding please ( I will post as a last resort but insurance will be buyers responsibility)

This clock works perfectly and keeps excellent time but may need to be set up and regulated after transit ( Full advise will be given if needed )

Due to the delicate nature of this clock I will not be liable for it's well being once it enters the postal system , however I do wrap my clocks very well and have had lots of good feed back . All my items can be collected from Mid Wales
