TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AUCTION SALE

DELIVERY INFORMATION
We send our items by First Class Mail. If you are not in and your postman can't get the item through the letter box (or for more expensive items where a signature is required) he will take the item back to your local depot. He should leave a card. If you are concerned about an apparant delay or problem with your delivery then please email us at sales@thompsonsltd.co.uk and we will try to help as much as possible.
FAILED DELIVERIES
Items returned to the local depot must be collected within 5 working days otherwise the Royal Mail class this as a failed delivery. If this happens your item will be returned to us. Should this happen please note that you will be liable to pay delivery charges for a second time to resend the goods.
DISPATCH INFORMATION
We try to dispatch our items on the same day that payment was received but we cannot guarantee this although we carry good stocks. Please note that the quantity shown in stock on ebay is not linked to our stock computer and we have no way to change this figure on a regular basis.
Due to this, on rare occasions following either unusually high demand or supply issues beyond our control there may be a delay in item supply.
If this happens to your order we will send you an ebay message to inform you of the estimated date of dispatch.
At this point you can ask for a full immediate refund or approve the delay. If we do not hear from you within 24 hours we will assume the delay is acceptable and your order will be processed.
RETURNS POLICY
We DO accept returns where you have notified us within seven working days of delivery. Please email us at sales@thompsonsltd.co.uk for a returns form. We cannot accept items returned that are not accompanied by a completed and signed official returns form.
Outside fourteen days from purchase we regret that returns cannot be accepted.
We regret that we cannot accept returns where an item has been used or where our original packaging (where appropriate) is missing or damaged.
We DO NOT refund postage and packing charges under any circumstances. We do not accept liability for postage and packaging costs incurred by the client in the event of an item being returned for any reason except that detailled below.
FAULTY GOODS
Items carry a 12 month warranty that starts on receipt. We will repair or replace defective goods. If you need to return a faulty item please email us at sales@thompsonsltd.co.uk for a returns form. We cannot accept faulty items returned that are not accompanied by a completed and signed official returns form.
LOST AND DAMAGED ITEMS
Occasionally we all know that Royal Mail can lose or damage an item. We define a lost item as one that has been in transit for more then 10 working days without a delivery attempt. If this happens we will dispatch a replacement for you as quickly as possible. We would request that should the original item eventually be delivered later, you return this to us. In these circumstances we will pay the postage for this to happen.
If an item is damaged on delivery please email us immediately at sales@thompsonsltd.co.uk. We regret that claims for damage cannot be entertained if we have not been informed within 3 days of receipt. Please note that you may be asked to send the damaged item back at your own cost (see above).

UK VAT IS INCLUDED IN ALL OUR LISTED PRICES
We are happy to ship internationally to ebayers of good standing - The Ebay checkout does not allow us to set a specific price for all different regions of Europe and the Rest Of World. This means that we may have to request that you pay additional postage. This will be more likely on heavier or more bulky items. If you are unhappy with the additional postage quote we are happy to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
