2008 Scumball 3000 Cinquecento Sporting.

Here we have the legendary Scumball Cinq!

Built to complete a charity run around Europe.

Complete with siren (6 horn noises & 6 animal noises, random! civilian type siren purchased from another e-bayer & not forces orientated in any way).

 The blue flashing roof light bar in the pictures is not included in this listing & is not for sale,The control pod inside car ,wiring & light bar has been fully disconnected & totally disabled.

The car also has full under body blue neons, front, rear and on both sides & a pulsing front blue light (similar to Knight Rider front light & not forces orientated), all controlled from inside the car on the roof pod switches (the only switches & wiring which hasn't been disabled)

You will also notice that the car has what appears to say 'Polizia' down each side & the back,but if you look closely the 'Z' is back to front so it doesn't spell anything really, let alone any form of the word 'Police'.These decals are not included in this listing,these are the only pictures I have of the car at present,I would find it hard to believe that anyone could mistake the car for anything to do with the forces as I am not aware or any Police force in the world using a Cinq as a squad car!

The Cinq is 100% totally reliable, we have just completed the 2008 Scumball 3000 an epic 2000 mile journey across europe, through Paris, down France, across to Germany (to the Nurburgring! see genuine sticker on the tailgate) Luxemburg, Holland (Amsterdam), Belgium & then back to Calais & Home.

Car has racing provenance, finished in the top 10 (out of 100) cars & should really go down in history as the smallest car to do the Scumball!

Also the car should have a staring role in the official Scumball DVD released early next year.

We fully checked the car over, serviced & replaced parts in anticipation for the trip, needless to say had no problems at all.

Here's a brief list of service items and new parts...

• Full professional respray, inside & out (i.e Colour change,all the glass & interior came out sprayed door shuts etc..)
• New centre exhaust & custom back box (sounds fruity, but not too loud)
• Full service, spark plugs, oil change, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, cam belt, fan belt, gear box oil & brake fluid change.
• New rear tyres. Fronts are about 1/2 way through their life.
• New R/H/R wheel bearing.
• New rear suspension bush.
• Single wiper conversion. (very cool!)
• The car has also had a recent clutch & cable.

All the work was carried out to a good standard by Italian car specialists.

What else can I say? The car is still being used on a daily basis & continues to be very reliable.

The only down side is that the siren stopped working the other day, probably just a loose connection, the rear shox sometimes knock a bit & the gearbox is a bit noisey, but come to think of it probably always was & it's just managed 2000 miles no problem.

I've tried to show & explain how great this little car is.

Cash on collection preferred, car can, on appointment be viewed in Welwyn Hertfordshire.

I'm not prepared to part ex or accept bids outside the UK, let alone ship the car out of the UK!
