You are looking at a Fernandes Monterey Elite guitar, in Trans Wine Red.
 
The Monterey has a classic design delivering top-notch tone with only the finest woods available. A 5A Canadian Flame Maple top coupled with a solid Mahogany body and tapered set-neck with a 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard.
 
Equipped with a Graph-Tec nut, Grover Tuners, Gotoh Tune-O-Matic bridge, Seymour Duncan USA humbucker (JB), the Monterey Elite comes fitted with the patented Fernandes Sustainer system, for unlimited sustain and controllable feedback at your fingertips. 
 
 Here's what this will do for your sound...
 
The patented Fernandes Sustainer is a specially designed system that produces a magnetic field causing the strings to vibrate indefinately, just like they would if "hit" by high volume soundwaves from your amp.
 
The result is controlled sustain and feedback using quiet clean, or, loud distorted settings, without the need for excessive volumes or
extra outboard gear.
 
It is powered by a 9v battery and uses a "driver" in the neck position. This will give you two main modes. Infinite sustain, or harmonic mode. The latter is like controlled feedback, with the pitch rising to a 5th harmonic when held. Hold a C note, and the harmonic rises to a G above it.
 
When switched in, the Sustainer circuitry is activated and signal is routed directly to the bridge pickup. The pickup selector and the neck pickup are deactivated. When switched off, the Sustainer is deactivated, and the pickup selector is reactivated allowing the sustainer driver to function as a normal neck pickup.
 
There is an intensity control which determines volume of the Sustainer effect.
 
It's like having an Ebow built in to the guitar. You'll be able to get a whole load of Hendrix type effects, all at any volume, and very controlable.

ALL OUR GUITARS ARE SETUP. USUALLY THIS IS DONE BY THE MANUFACTURER OR THE DISTRIBUTOR, AND CHECKED BY US WHEN WE RECEIVE THEM.

SOMETIMES, RARELY WITHIN THE UK, A GUITAR WILL SLOWLY ACCLIMATISE TO A NEW ENVIRONMENT. THIS COULD HAPPEN AS A RESULT OF DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE LEVELS AND HUMIDITY, FOR INSTANCE, WHEN KEPT IN A CENTRALLY HEATED ENVIRONMENT. A GUITAR MAY ALSO CHANGE AS A RESULT OF BEING “PLAYED IN”.

BESIDES ALL THIS, EVERY PLAYER HAS THEIR OWN DIFFERENT PREFERENCES.

BEARING ALL THIS IN MIND WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU PLAY IN YOUR GUITAR FOR A MONTH OR SO, AND THEN, IF YOU FEEL IT NEEDS ADJUSTMENT, ARRANGE FOR A SET-UP WITH YOUR LOCAL GUITAR TECH.
