GB COMMONWEALTH - First Day Cover – 1973 – ROYAL WEDDING of HRH THE PRINCESS ANNE to CAPTAIN MARK PHILLIPS

This First Day Cover was issued to commemorate the wedding of HRH THE PRINCESS ANNE to CAPTAIN MARK PHILLIPS on the 14th November 1973

This cover carries both the commemorative postage stamps issued by the ‘BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS’, the 5 cent and the 50 cent stamps, both of which feature the couples portrait

This cover also carries a special handstamp cancellation dated 16th November 1973 ‘FIRST DAY OF ISSUE’ from the BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS

This Cotswold Cover only carries a small address label in the bottom right hand corner, it does not have either a typed, or hand written address

This item is in EXTREMELY GOOD/AS NEW condition.
