HANDMADE SYNTHETIC IVORY TUNER BUTTONS
Direct replacement for Schaller and Gotoh tuning machines
Exclusive to Rothesay Music! Stunning replacement guitar tuner buttons, beautifuly handcrafted from solid synthetic ivory, showing very attractive grain. An ideal match for ivoroid neck/body/headstock binding, bone bridge pins etc. These buttons feature a special metal insert which is designed specifically to fit any model of Schaller M6 tuning machines. They are also compatible with several models Gotoh and Ping machines. The insert ensures that the button will not split in use, as plain hardwood or plastic buttons have been known to.
The buttons closely follow the size and profile of the Schaller "Mini" button. Also available in standard size - see additional listings. Please note that mini buttons are compatible with standard-size and mini-size tuning machines and vice-versa.
Schaller M6 machines have since the late '60s been established as the industry standard for professional, reliable, precision guitar tuning machines. The have been used by countless manufacturers and luthiers including Martin, Gibson, Ovation, Hamer, Paul Reed Smith, Fender, Guild, Dobro, Hagstrom, Lakewood, Lowden, Godin, MusicMan, G & L, Heritage, Rickenbacker, Shergold, Hayman, Kramer, Huss & Dalton, Goodall, Dean, Collings. Larrivee, Taylor and countless others. Until now your choice of buttons from Schaller was limited to chrome, gold, ebony or pearloid. Rothesay music exclusively offers replacement buttons in Rosewood, American Walnut, Ivoroid and synthetic Tortoisehell, all available in standard or mini size. Sold in a set of 6 - Please note - you are buying a set of 6 handmade replacement IVOROID tuner buttons - the tuning machines are NOT included. The buttons are compatible with Schaller M6 tuning machines and Gotoh sealed die-cast tuning machines. They are NOT compatible with Grover machines. We cannot confirm compatibilty with any other machines apart from Schaller, Ping and Gotoh. Please note: As with real ivory these buttons show random variations in grain pattern.
