Michael Jackson is an iconic image used in the early work by Faile.

Faile are an international collective based in Brooklyn. Formed initially as A-Life in 1999 by Patrick McNeil, Patrick Miller and Aiko Nakagawa, they are widely recognized as pioneers of global contemporary street art. Initially eliminating the problem of painting walls whilst keeping one eye out for the authorities by fly posting their work, Faile’s motives and energies changed, becoming less about quantity and more about quality and feeling.
