THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL BOOK - a  First Edition hardback published in 1863 by Librarie Ve Jules Renouard entitled, "Guide de l'Amateur: Faiences & Porcelaines, Potteries, Terres Cuites, Peinture Sur Lave et Emaux" compiled by M. Auguste Demmin.

It is a book for the serious collector or, of course, a French collector of ceramics. The text is in French and there are illustrations within the 576 pages.

The book is in very good condition though there is some tanning to the end pages and slight foxing to the early pages and end papers. There are no inscriptions inside other than a couple of small pencilled prices.
