It is traditional here in France that when a tradesman completes his project he likes to twist your arm to display his plaque so that anyone who admires your new building, carpentry , roof etc may request his services!. I have seen some delicious old ones attached to gorgeous old buildings!
I have been lucky enough to truffle out a superb batch of vintage plaques that would add shabby chic flair to any project. A wonderful touch for any cupboards, trunks, doors,armoires etc.
This painted metal plaque measures 2" (5cms) in diameter and is a warm cream with black lettering.

The plaque has two wall fixing holes and is in good vintage condition with just a little distressing to the finish as the photograh shows.
