Offered for sale is this super quality Victorian chest of drawers, this chest is primarily made from pine, it has been very well constructed and is strong and sturdy with no shakes or wobbles. This chest has been painted in an off white colour, sanded and lightly distressed then waxed polished. It has a plinth type base and rounded corners in typical Victorian style, the chest has two small upper drawers over two long drawers, all drawers are mahogany lined and have cock beeding to their front edges with hand cut dovetailed joints, all drawers are in good solid condition and operate as they should, they have their original turned wooden knobs. The dimensions are 35 1/2" wide, 19 3/4" deep and 35 1/2" high, overall this is a very stylish Victorian chest which would of been very good quality in it's day, it is in very good condition having just been re-finished and is of good proportions having a very usefull extra deep bottom drawer, due to the style and finish it would look great in either modern or traitional settings.
