This is a fabulous Victorian chesterfield three seater sofa dating from about 1880.

   The sofa is well made and extremely heavy. It was manufactured by James Shoolbred & Co. The castors are stamped Shoolbred London and there is a serial number on one rear leg. It has a fabulous shape and superb mahogany legs.

The sofa has a generous sized seating area and is very comfortable to sit on. It has been reupholstered in attractive pale green damask within the last ten years or so. The fabric is in excellent condition and just needs a light clean. The four scatter cushions add extra comfort.   

Dimensions are 81" wide, 39" deep and 27" high. The seating area is 57" wide, 26" deep and 16" high from the floor.

Delivery is possible to mainland Britain. The maximum charge for England and Wales (except Cornwall) is £65, please e-mail for an exact price. Central Scotland would be £80, Northern Ireland by arrangement. Collection is welcome.
