FABULOUS ESCADA RED WOOL DESIGNER LADIES JACKET/c1980's
We have acquired a substantial quantity of exquisitely made designer outfits, suits, separates, hats and shoes, which all came from the estate of one very elegant and stylish English society lady, dated from the 1960's through to the 80's. They are classic pieces and therefore never really date, and are versatile in that there are lots of jackets which ca be mixed and matched with many skirts and pants. I will use this preface for each piece, and then add just a brief outline to describe every item, because they were all made for just the one person, so are, on the whole, exactly the same size, which is a UK 36 (10-12). Anyone interested in one particular outfit, feel free to email me for any specific details and I will be happy to answer your questions. This is a gorgeous tomato red coloured hip length Escada, Margaretha Ley jacket, made of 60% pure wool, 30% angora,10% silk, and fully lined in satin. It is in immaculate condition, and appears to be unworn and it has a luxurious, cashmere-like feel to the surface. Finished with military style brass buttons, with an anchor design, to the double breasted front and sleeve openings, it also has a hand embroidered sailor style gold thread badge with a black background on the breast pocket.

At Frockabilia / EurobiliaUK.Antiques we have one simple aim; to sell good quality antique pieces at competitive prices. .
We are located near Hampstead Heath in Central London; we sell small to medium sized pieces of period furniture and collectables, mostly items that we consider to be useful in the home as well as decorative. We hope that if we love them, then so will you. They range from the Georgian, Regency, Victorian, Art Nouveau, Arts & Crafts, Edwardian and Art Deco periods. .
Most of our items are Antiques and minor blemishes are normal due to age (Some items are over 100 years old, so perfection is impossible). All auction descriptions are honest, accurate, detailed and have many pictures, if the item has a flaw we try to show a picture so you will know exactly what you are bidding on. But please remember that there is normal wear and tear, and it is not always possible to show that. We take a great deal of trouble over transporting our items, whether they are large or small. The large pieces of furniture, which go by road, are carefully handled by expert delivery drivers and the smaller pieces are packed very carefully, with lots of packing materials - the more fragile they are, the more packing and care they receive.
