About Us:
We are a London based, family run business with over forty years experience in the Oriental rug business. We are always happy to have a chat to any interested buyers and other rug enthusiasts. We have a showroom that can be used to view our stock, which is available with an appointment. In addition to the pieces listed here, we also have an extensive catalogue of Oriental, tribal, European and other tasteful textiles that can be viewed in our showroom. If you have a particular interest or are looking for something specific, please e-mail us, as we may very well have what you are looking for! We undertake our own specialist cleaning and regularly maintain our stock. Please contact us if you would like more information about cleaning and repairs. Customer satisfaction is a priority for us and we hope you enjoy our lovely rugs as much as we do.
We are happy to provide additional photos to the ones listed and welcome prearranged visits to view any of the carpets in the shop.
Our Policies:
Payment is due within 10 days of purchase. Item will be re-listed if contact is not made within this period. We accept PayPal, personal cheques (UK only), bankers’ draft, cash on collection or postal orders. All payment must be made in GBP sterling. We do not accept bank transfers under any circumstances.
Postage will occur within 10 days of cleared payment. We usually post via Royal Mail. We are more than happy to discuss postage options with you. We will post worldwide via UPS or Airmail. If you have any postage preferences, please let us know. We do not accept responsibility for any damage that occurs during postage. If you would like insurance on your item, please let us know. Each piece with be carefully baled and packaged in water resistant material and addressed clearly.
Overseas buyers (Non UK): Royal Mail Airmail does not provide tracking information, but is a safe and quick method of postage. If you wish to have your parcel tracked, please ask for a UPS quote. If you would like to reduce postage costs, please ask for a Surface mail quote (up to 12 weeks delivery time). Overseas buyers are responsible for any import taxes and duties charged and should be aware of possible import charges before purchase.
Refunds will only be considered under exceptional circumstances. All refunds will be at our discretion. We list the details of each piece as accurately as possible, including all damage and wear. We are not responsible for misinterpretations of age or origin. Conditions of refund include that the item be returned exactly as it was dispatched (including no further damage gained from postage) and payment by buyer of all P&P, payment and Ebay charges incurred from transaction. Please contact us immediately upon receipt of item if there are any issues and we will try to resolve them. Pieces that are returned to us without prior notification will not be refunded. Please do not leave negative feedback before giving us a chance to resolve any concerns.
