An Indochinite Tektite from Asia weighing 19.8 grams and measuring 23mm x 23mm x 29mm.

Tektites are natural formations of glass that have fallen back to Earth from outside the Earths atmosphere following Comet/large Meteorite impacts. This variety of Tektite is known as an Indochinite due to the believed impact site near Thailand some 750,000 years ago when millions of ton’s of molten rock was projected high into the Earths atmosphere and into Earth orbit. This material eventually fell back to Earth in a huge shower of shooting stars. The resultant field of material from space (Tektites) is known as a strew field and this stretched across much of the Earth's surface from Australia to as far as China.
