These cones are wound by us from the industrial knitting yarns on original mill cones we sell elsewhere in our eBay shop. We buy these remainder yarns only from the top Scottish and Italian mills, who use only the best natural fibres and who have built their worldwide reputations on their vibrant colour ranges. Most of these yarns were one-off developments for the world's top garment brands, who pay more for them than we are charging here! You simply won't find more colourful or better quality yarn anywhere.

Zegna Baruffa of Italy have developed their own ways of spinning extra long, extra fine, merino fibres to make the resultant lace weight yarn feel almost as soft as cashmere, so soft that the yarn is branded Cashwool in the trade and used in all the finest merino knitwear. ... one or two similar mills do the same things with the best new geelong fibres...

We have this yarn twisted up for us from multiple plies of that lace weight yarn. This yarn is still oiled for industrial knitting, and so will bloom if washed in hot water and detergent (we recommend doing this after knitting).

We ship worldwide, unless asked otherwise we use Royal Mail first class in UK, Royal Mail Airmail small packet overseas. Usually that takes about 1 week to arrive in US or Asia, but can be a little longer.
