Paypal e-cheques
An eCheque is an electronic funds transfer that withdraws money directly from your bank account. It is just like writing a cheque, only it is done electronically.
If you choose credit card, PayPal throws up a message that encourages you to pay from your bank account instead. Actually, it is quite easy for a buyer to unknowingly issue an e-cheque if they don't pay attention to and override the automatic choice PayPal presents to them. I'm sure PayPal prefers e-cheque payments because their per-transaction fees to credit card companies will be reduced
When you send money with an eCheque from a UK bank account, the transaction will be held as pending for 7-9 working days, until the electronic funds transfer has cleared your bank.
Please note: I only dispatch your goods once your e-cheque as cleared (e-cheques, just like normal cheques, can and do bounce after all!).
Thank you for your co-operation
