This is a beautiful heavy duty microscope in good condition for its age and usage. 
The microscope has under gone regular servicing from new. This would be an ideal microscope for the Biology/Medical student or serious amateur microscopist.

The microscope was made by Kyowa Optical Japan, a manufacturer with reputation for quality both optically and mechanically. The stand has coaxial course and fine focus controls with tension control to the left and a stage height preset. Viewing is by a monocular head that has a wide field WF10x eyepiece – the monocular can be fully rotated for discussion. It is fitted with a quadruple ball bearing objective changer with original Kyowa objectives: SemiPlan A10x 0.25na, SemiPlan A40x 0.65na and 100x Oil Immersion. It has a built-in pendant control mechanical stage to allow precise movement of the specimen under the high power objectives.  Beneath the stage is a rack and pinion focused Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm and a 32mm filter holder. Illuminator is a variable full Koehler 12v 24w with brightness control and on/of switch. The body has some marks through usage but in all other regards it is a fine instrument.

Magnifications generated: 100x, 400x and 1000x.

A set of easy to follow instructions are included to get the most out of the instrument.
