Up for auction this week are more books from a great collection which I was lucky enough to purchase some time ago. These great books have been boxed up in my storeroom but I now need to make some room so will be offering lots of interesting books at low prices and no reserve. I'm always happy to combine postage so check my other auctions as there might other books of interest listed.
On offer this time is "Evelina" which was written by Fanny Burney and illustrated by Hugh Thomson. The book is "The History of a Young Lady's Entrance into the World" and it was first published in 1778. This edition came out in 1903.
The book measures 18.5cm x 13cm x 3.5cm and has 477 pages. There are some bumps to the corners of the hardcover and the flyleaves have some faint brown spots and an inscription. The rest of the pages are pretty good and the book is still strongly bound.
I wrap every-thing well to ensure that it doesn't get damaged in the post and send it in the most economical way possible. If you are unsure on postage costs please email me your postcode and I will send a quote.
