Attractive satin solid Spruce top bound in white, with striking Celtic style inlaid soundhole decoration.

Solid Maple back and sides with Maple neck, all with a modern satin finish. Slotted headstock with folk style backward facing machine heads.

Movable bridge to ensure accurate intonation.

Please note: the figuring on the tailpiece varies slightly between different models.

Adjustable truss rod for neck adjustment if required.

A popular choice for guitarists, as the fret intervals are very similar.

Very resonant sound suitable for all types of traditional and modern music

Regular tuning is G-D-A-E (an octave below mandolin or violin), with octave strings on the G & D, for a brilliant "Chorus" effect. However, many people prefer G-D-A-D for an open, modal sound, so I supply them tuned this way. You can, of course, experiment within the limits of string tension.

Please Note: this is NOT a Greek Bouzouki - they are tuned C-F-A-D (in thirds) and are normally round-backed. However, if you wish to adapt this one - the roundback models being rather more expensive - I believe it is possible, with the correct set of strings.
