Antique 24K-gold rimmed, Etched Crystal Wine Decanter

This beautiful set was purchsed by my grandparents sometime in the 1940's when they were traveling in Europe.

The decanter is in excellent condition as are the 4 cups and the stopper. Disregard the water spots. Needs to be cleaned, but I will leave that to the buyer.

Each cup is about 3" tall, Decanter is about 7".

Each is etched and enbellished with a 24K gold rim.

I could find no distinctive markings on this to tell me where it came from.

I am certainly no expert on these items, I am only relaying the legend that has been retold to me by my parents, who died some 20 years ago....
